| Inventor and President of Arasmith Manufacturing, Inc. | |
| The roots of this company go back to the early 1930s when I was a young boy growing up in Montana. At the weekly fish fry and social gathering, I was assigned to "Edison" duty. The Edison was a phonograph player that played music discs similar to LPs or CDs. It had a speed control dial that allowed me to slowly vary the tempo of the music, and I reveled in the stealth power of mechanics to control the pace of the dancing adults! My mother explained that the device was called an Edison because the inventor's name was Thomas Edison. After much thought and reflection I told Mom I'd be an inventor when I grew up, just like Mr. Edison! | |
| Near the end of World War II, I joined the Army and served as a military policeman while training to be a pilot. After the service, I became a transport pilot for one of the world's largest pulpwooding companies. I often examined the workings of the huge wood processing equipment and before long, I began to draw up plans for the company to improve the efficency of their machinery. | ![]() |
| After years of double duty as a pilot and engineer, the inventor's bug bit again. In 1967, Arasmith Manufacturing was born to create and distribute my patented wood and waste processing inventions. | |
| Now, almost forty years later, Arasmith Manufacturing, Inc. has become one of the industry leaders in custom wood and waste processing equipment. Our company holds eighteen U.S. and foreign patents, and has a solid reputation for quality workmanship and superior customer service. | |
| If your company has a need to convert waste into profit, Arasmith will design and produce a solution that's just right for you! | |
